Line Cook

Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for new dishes. Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining high quality. Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including knives and cooking appliances. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service. Assist with catering events as needed, providing support in meal preparation and presentation. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and ingredients, notifying management when reordering is necessary. Qualifications Previous experience as a cook or in a similar role within the food industry is preferred. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, including meal preparation and knife skills. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff. A passion for food, cooking, and providing exceptional dining experiences. Familiarity with dietary restrictions and preferences is a plus, particularly for those interested in menu planning.
