In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients, assisting with meal assembly, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. Your enthusiasm for food preparation and commitment to safety standards will help ensure smooth kitchen operations and deliver exceptional dining experiences. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your culinary skills while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting. Responsibilities Assist in food preparation by chopping, slicing, dicing, and measuring ingredients according to recipes and safety guidelines Follow established menu plans and recipe adherence to ensure consistency and quality in every dish Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, slicers, ovens, and other appliances safely and efficiently Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen tools to meet food safety standards Support the cooking process by preparing basic components of meals under the supervision of chefs or kitchen managers Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate meal assembly and ensure timely service Follow food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure proper storage of ingredients Experience Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is highly desirable Food service or restaurant experience demonstrating familiarity with food preparation and safety standards Knowledge of menu planning, recipe adherence, and meal preparation techniques Skills in using kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives with proper slicing techniques Experience in cleaning protocols related to food industry standards and maintaining a sanitized workspace Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with kitchen team members Culinary experience that includes food safety management, catering experience, and understanding of food handling regulations Join us to be part of a passionate team dedicated to delivering high-quality meals while upholding the highest safety standards.
