Campania takes the best elements of fine and casual dining to create a sophisticated and lively atmosphere centered around authentic Neapolitan pizza. We are a privately owned family of restaurants expanding into locations well-suited for authentic restaurants. We are looking for experienced professionals wishing to grow their career in the hospitality industry on our team. At our Canton location we are hiring a pantry cook whose personality and character is well suited to our mission of Campania. We are looking for experienced pantry/line cooks to join our great team. We are searching for an individual that is excited to immerse them selves in Italian food and the heart of Campania. We offer full health benefits to all full-time staff. To promote family and quality of life for our team, we close our restaurants every Monday, Easter, Independence Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day and Superbowl Sunday!
Summary of Position:
Accurately and efficiently prepares entrees and other menu items as well as prepare and portion meats, cheeses, and other food products prior to and during cooking. Help put away deliveries, help with orders, and be the second hand to our director of culinary for all three locations.Responsibilities:
- Knows and complies consistently with our standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, kitchen rules, policies and procedures.
- Portions food products prior to cooking according to standard portion sizes and recipe specifications.
- Maintains a clean and sanitary work station area including: tables, shelves, refrigerator, grills, broilers, fryers, pasta cookers, sauté burners, and additional equipment.
- Handles, stores, and rotates all products properly.
- Promptly reports equipment and food quality problems to Kitchen Manager
- Informs Kitchen Manager immediately of product shortages
- Maintain quality products and assumes 100% responsibility
