Overview Join our dynamic culinary team as a Fryer/Grill Specialist, where your passion for food preparation and kitchen excellence will shine! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for preparing delicious fried and grilled dishes that delight our guests. Your expertise in food safety, menu execution, and high-volume production will ensure every plate meets our high standards of quality and flavor. Responsibilities Prepare a variety of fried and grilled menu items with precision, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards Operate and maintain kitchen equipment such as fryers, grills, and other cooking appliances safely and efficiently Follow food safety sanitizing procedures to ensure a clean and hygienic work environment at all times Assist in menu planning by suggesting new ideas and ensuring consistency in food production Handle food with care, practicing proper food handling techniques to maintain quality and safety standards Support dietary department needs by understanding dietary restrictions and accommodating special requests when necessary Maintain high-volume production levels while ensuring timely service during peak hours Experience Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or catering environments is highly preferred Familiarity with food preparation techniques including poaching, braising, grilling, and general cooking skills Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures within a commercial kitchen setting Strong knife skills and proficiency in operating kitchen equipment such as fryers, grills, and other culinary tools Experience with menu planning, recipe adherence, and food production in high-volume settings Background in dietary aide or dietary department roles is a plus but not required Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Join us to bring your culinary talents to life!
