Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a versatile Cashier/Cook professional, where you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences while maintaining a clean, efficient, and welcoming environment. This energetic position offers the opportunity to engage with customers directly, prepare delicious food, and ensure the smooth operation of our facility. Duties Greet customers warmly, take accurate orders, and process transactions efficiently using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems. Prepare a variety of food items with attention to quality, safety, and presentation, adhering to food handling and sanitation standards. Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance sales and customer satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, kitchen, and restrooms through regular cleaning, bussing tables, and sanitation practices. Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment and facilities to ensure safety and operational efficiency. Handle cash transactions accurately, manage cash handling procedures, and reconcile registers at shift end. Overnight positions have a premium pay of an additional $2 per hour. Maintenance positions require experience and start at $14/hr and can go up Depending on your experience . Qualifications Previous experience in food preparation, cashiering, or restaurant service is highly preferred; experience in quick service or fast food environments is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is desirable. Strong skills in food handling, sanitation, and kitchen operations; culinary experience is advantageous. Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively during busy periods. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order totaling. Demonstrated customer service abilities with a friendly attitude and clear communication skills.
