The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with experience in various kitchen environments. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace Ensure proper food handling and safety protocols are followed at all times Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages Participate in catering events as needed, providing high-quality food service Uphold fine dining standards in food presentation and service Skills Preferred knowledge or ability to learn skills in regards to Vegan cuisine Proven experience in the food industry, particularly in restaurant or fine dining settings Strong culinary skills with a focus on meal preparation and cooking techniques Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for food handling Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Strong communication skills for effective collaboration within the kitchen team A passion for cooking and creativity in menu planning is highly desirable Join us as we create memorable dining experiences at Bad Gyal Vegan!
