Job Description

Cooking, preparing, and serving recipe items using a variety of utensils and equipment while ensuring safety and sanitation standards.
Ongoing:
Processing incoming tickets and modifications. Preparing foods using a variety of meats, poultry, vegetables, and other food items. Cooking on grills, fryers and a variety of other kitchen equipment. Portioning food for cook's lines by following recipes specifically. Ensuring food is cooked and delivered within proper specified times. Assisting other cooks, or with food prep when needed. Ensuring proper storage of food and equipment (FIFO). Other duties as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Food handler certification is a plus. Ability to perform quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced work environment. Minimum of 6 months experience in kitchen preparation and cooking preferred. Must be able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen and FOH personnel.
Working Conditions:
Position requires walking, standing regularly, lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds. Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to read and interpret recipes. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
