Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items with precision, following established recipes and presentation standards. Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, portioning, and assembling ingredients for various dishes. Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, ensuring proper food handling and storage practices are followed at all times. Support the team during busy service hours by efficiently managing multiple orders and ensuring timely delivery of meals. Follow all food safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for both staff and guests. Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels, rotating supplies, and reporting shortages or issues promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and uphold high standards of quality in every dish served. Skills Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory. Strong knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques are highly desirable. Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, catering, or dietary department work is a plus. Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and customer service when needed.
