- Full-time About Us Dua Karahi & Grill is a new full-service Pakistani restaurant opening in Norcross, GA, serving authentic karahi and open-charcoal BBQ cuisine.
Our kitchen is led by two Head Chefs with a combined 44 years of specialized experience in traditional Pakistani cooking techniques brought directly from Karachi, Pakistan. The Role We are looking for a Line Cook to join our kitchen team, working across both our Karahi and BBQ divisions. You will cook and prepare dishes under the direct guidance of both Head Chefs, rotating between stations as needed during service. You do not need any background in Pakistani or South Asian cuisine, our Head Chefs will train you on every dish, technique, and recipe you'll be responsible for. What we need is someone who can follow instructions precisely, execute consistently, and move comfortably between two stations. Responsibilities Cook and prepare assigned menu items under the direction of the Head Chefs across both the Karahi and BBQ stations, following recipes and techniques exactly as trained Rotate between divisions based on service volume and kitchen needs, supporting whichever station requires assistance Marinate proteins using precise spice ratios and ingredient measurements provided by the Head Chefs Fry, grill, sauté, and cook dishes as assigned, maintaining consistency in flavor, texture, and presentation Assist with plating and final presentation of dishes during service per Head Chef standards Prepare ingredients for both stations, including portioning, seasoning, and organizing mise en place before each service Maintain proper cooking temperatures and food safety standards at all times Keep your work area clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout service Communicate clearly with both Head Chefs and the wider kitchen team during service Follow proper food handling, storage, and rotation procedures in compliance with all health and safety regulations Assist with inventory counts, receiving deliveries, and restocking supplies as directed Complete side work and deep cleaning assignments promptly Requirements Previous experience as a line cook, cook, or similar role in a restaurant kitchen Ability to follow detailed instructions and replicate dishes consistently without deviation Solid cooking fundamentals, comfortable with frying, grilling, sautéing, and working with proteins Adaptable and able to shift between different cooking stations and techniques within a single service Strong attention to detail, especially with portioning, seasoning measurements, and cook times Ability to work efficiently on your feet in a fast-paced, high-heat kitchen Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented with a willingness to learn Comfortable taking direction from multiple senior chefs Knowledge of food safety practices and proper kitchen sanitation Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed No prior experience with Pakistani or South Asian cuisine required, full training provided by our Head Chefs Compensation $15
