Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast items including eggs, pancakes, breakfast meats, fruits, and baked goods with precision and flair Ensure all food is prepared according to established recipes, presentation standards, and safety guidelines Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety protocols at all times Assist with menu planning for breakfast offerings, incorporating seasonal ingredients and guest preferences Support food handling and storage procedures to prevent contamination and waste Collaborate with the culinary team to deliver timely service during busy morning hours Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management when stock needs replenishing Qualifications Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or culinary roles within hotels, restaurants, or catering services Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques Experience with menu planning and meal preparation for large groups or fine dining settings Skilled in knife work, food presentation, and cooking techniques relevant to breakfast cuisine Background in dietary department or dietary aide roles is a plus Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during peak hours Knowledge of the food industry's best practices for hygiene and safety regulations Join us as a Hotel Breakfast Cook where your culinary talents will shine!
