Look no further than this position! Work with one of the best Executive Chefs and food service teams in the region. Learn how to professionally prepare and present quality food. The Cook is responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality meals and food items for the hospital cafeteria, catering functions, and other Food & Nutrition Services operations. This position follows standardized recipes, production schedules, food safety standards, and quality expectations to ensure a positive dining experience for employees, patients, visitors, physicians, and guests. The Cook plays a key role in maintaining efficient kitchen operations while supporting the organization's commitment to service excellence. The position is aligned with Food & Nutrition Services operations. Cross-train and assist in other Food & Nutrition Services functions as needed.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED preferred. Culinary or vocational food service education preferred. Minimum of one year of cooking experience in a restaurant, healthcare, hospitality, cafeteria, or commercial food service environment preferred.
