Job Description

Essential tasks:
Keeps abreast of operational regulations and procedures and ensures compliance during the given shift; reports abnormalities to the general manager, assistant general manager, or shift leader. Helps to ensure that company and operational rules and procedures, including safety and sanitation standards, are explained to employees. Assists in keeping an eye on safety conditions to verify standards are being met. Guarantees that control measures are implemented and followed. Participation in new hire orientation is possible. Helps with the initial and ongoing training of personnel, including OSHA and safety regulations, as well as the recording of training that has taken place. Supports management in overseeing kitchen operations to guarantee top-notch service and product quality. Contributes to the upkeep of accurate inventories, adherence to cash control policies, and production of relevant accounting and administrative reports as needed. Helps management make sure that every section is adequately supplied and ready for lunch times. Helps to make sure the daily and weekly cleaning routines are followed and updated. Helps the organization monitor and put into effect any fair employment policies that have been set up. Maintains reliable and regular attendance.
Cook's Responsibilities:
Setting up workstations, supplies, and kitchenware for cooking. Preparing and cooking food. Keeping your kitchen clean and organized. Setting up kitchen workstations and maintaining kitchenware. Verifying the ingredients and food product's quality. Preparing food items using a variety of methods. Setting up meals and making sure the presentation is appealing.
