Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic to join our back of house team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving delicious meals while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality. Your enthusiasm for food service and culinary arts will help create a positive dining experience for our residents or guests. This position
REQUIRES
open availability on the weekends. Willingness to work BOTH our Watkinsville and Athens locations is preferred, but not required. This position would be perfect for a college student or someone looking for a second job. Responsibilities Assist in meal preparation and food service, ensuring timely delivery of dishes that meet quality standards Follow established recipes and menu plans, contributing ideas for menu improvements when appropriate Handle food safely by adhering to proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures Support kitchen operations by preparing ingredients, cooking, and plating meals with precision and care Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas, including dishwashing and equipment sanitation Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow during busy meal times Assist with catering events or special meal occasions as needed Skills Previous dietary department experience or dietary aide experience is highly desirable Strong knowledge of menu planning, food preparation, and cooking techniques Experience in fine dining or restaurant settings enhances your ability to deliver exceptional service Proficiency in food handling, safety protocols, and kitchen equipment operation Excellent knife skills and meal preparation abilities to ensure efficiency and consistency Familiarity with the food industry standards for cleanliness, safety, and quality control Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Join us as a if you're passionate about culinary arts, eager to develop your skills in a vibrant setting, and committed to providing outstanding food service.
