Job Summary Join our dynamic culinary team as a Back Line Prep Cook, where your enthusiasm for food and dedication to quality will shine! In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients, assisting with food assembly, and supporting the kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help create delicious dishes that delight our guests. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your culinary skills in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities Prepare fresh ingredients by chopping, slicing, and portioning according to recipe specifications Assist with assembling menu items and ensuring all components are ready for service Maintain cleanliness and organization of the prep station and kitchen tools Follow food safety protocols and proper handling procedures at all times Support the kitchen team during busy periods by efficiently completing meal prep tasks Help with inventory management by rotating stock and notifying supervisors of supply needs Adhere to sanitation standards to ensure a safe and hygienic work environment Skills Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is a plus Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling techniques Familiarity with menu planning and meal assembly processes Proven knife skills and ability to handle various kitchen tools safely Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices Experience in restaurant or food industry settings demonstrating reliable food service skills Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Excellent teamwork, communication, and organizational skills Embark on a rewarding culinary journey with us!
