Brief Summary of Job:

Responsible for the preparation of restaurant hot/cold items, banquet, outlet and cafeteria items according to recipes and specifications set by the Hotel. Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the job include but are not limited to: Maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times, while providing personalized service to hotel guests. Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members. Assists in preparing and cooking foods under supervision. Mixes, cuts and shapes dough by hand or machine. Bakes bread, rolls, muffins, biscuits, pies and cakes. Provide assistance to other team members and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and hotel. Perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management. •Management retains the discretion to add or change the duties of the position at any time•

Knowledge/Education/Experience:

Minimum of one (1) - two (2) years of related culinary hotel or restaurant experience. High school or equivalent education. TB clearance card required.

Skills/Abilities/Other Requirements:

English speaking or bilingual. Ability to prioritize, organize and make good judgments. Ability to maintain good team member relations. Dependable.
