Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with experience in fast casual or catering environments. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our dishes are prepared to the highest standards, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area Assist in menu planning and development of new dishes Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed Follow proper food handling procedures to minimize waste and ensure quality Participate in catering events as required Skills Proven experience in a culinary role, preferably within the food industry or restaurant setting Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations Excellent knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques Experience with meal preparation, including dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Familiarity with menu planning and catering services is advantageous Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment Join us as we create memorable dining experiences through exceptional culinary offerings!
