The Cook responsibilities includes preparing and serving nutritious meals for residents while adhering to dietary requirements and food safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Portion and serve food to facility residents Cook food according to menus, special dietary or nutritional restrictions, and number of portions to be served Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes, or silverware Verify that prepared food meets requirements for quality and quantity Cook Qualifications High School Diploma or GED One year of kitchen or food preparation Experience working with seniors is preferred Knowledge of sanitation rules Ability to understand recipes and calculate measurements Ability to work with minimal supervision Understanding or ability to learn the use of commercial kitchen equipment What's in it for you?
