Job Description
ABM, a leading provider of integrated facility solutions, is looking for a Cook. This position is responsible for the preparation of food served in all areas of the hospital and oversees patient tray assembly, café, and catering food service. Also follows industry food handling standards when completing operational duties/tasks. The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on the applicant's experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

Follow strict food safety, sanitation, and allergy-prevention protocols to ensure patient safety. Collaborate with dietary staff and healthcare professionals to accommodate individual dietary needs and restrictions. Accurately label and handle ingredients to prevent cross-contamination, especially for allergen-sensitive meals. Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and food prep area in compliance with health and safety regulations. Monitor portion sizes and food presentation to support therapeutic meal plans and promote a healthy eating environment. Participate in ongoing training related to food allergies, disordered eating, and behavioral health nutrition. Document food temperatures, cleaning schedules, and meal service records in accordance with hospital standards.
