Afternoon Cook Schedule:
Approximately 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM (Flexible depending on your needs) The Bistro at Blooms is looking for a dependable, team-oriented cook to help bridge the gap between our busy lunch service and evening dinner service. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a variety of kitchen tasks, from prepping fresh ingredients to cooking made-from-scratch meals and helping keep the kitchen running smoothly throughout the day. We're flexible with scheduling and are looking for someone who takes pride in preparing quality food while working in a positive, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes Assist with food prep for both lunch and dinner service Help maintain a smooth transition between daytime and evening operations Follow food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures Keep workstations clean, organized, and stocked Assist with receiving, rotating, and storing inventory Work alongside the kitchen team to provide consistent, high-quality food Support other kitchen duties as needed Qualifications Previous restaurant or kitchen experience preferred Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team Reliable, punctual, and able to stay organized Passion for creating great food and providing an excellent guest experience What We Offer Flexible scheduling Supportive, family-owned work environment Employee discounts Opportunities for additional hours if desired A chance to be part of a growing, creative restaurant team Schedule Approximately 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM Flexible scheduling available
