Description Adecco Staffing is seeking an experienced and motivated Cook II to join a fast-paced kitchen team at a gold mining encampment outside of Yellow Pine, ID. This position plays a key role in preparing and plating dishes according to established recipes and standards while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Pay:
$19-22/hr. DOE+
OT Schedule:
Rotation hitch is 20 days on, and 10 days off. Room, board and meals are provided.
Responsibilities:
Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards. Set up and stock workstations with necessary supplies and equipment before each shift. Maintain cleanliness and organization of cooking areas, utensils, and equipment. Monitor food quality and ensure proper cooking temperatures and presentation. Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating food inventory. Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and supervisors to ensure efficient operations. Support other team members as needed during busy service hours.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Line Cook, Prep Cook, or in a similar role required. Strong knowledge of kitchen equipment, recipes, and food safety standards. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Excellent time management and multitasking skills. Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs. Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Pay Details:
