As a Cook/Kitchen Prep person, you will be responsible for: Using the correct tools and equipment to prepare all items Prepare and cook a variety of high-quality dishes, following Garcia's recipes and standards Ensure food is cooked to order with consistent flavor, presentation, and portioning Assist with prepping ingredients, stocking kitchen supplies, and maintaining inventory as-needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Duties of this position will include: Set up of kitchen equipment Verification of stock Cleaning of cooking equipment Managing the flow of food orders Following sanitation and safety standards Requirements of this position include: A good sense of balance, the ability to multi-task, lift up to 50 pounds waist high and stand for long periods of time A qualified applicant must have basic reading, writing, verbal communication skills, and the willingness to work with others as a team The ability to exert fast-paced mobility for periods of up to 8 hours in length. This position also requires you to use motion that entails bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling, stretching, and continuous bilateral use of fingers and wrists.
