In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients, assisting with meal assembly, and supporting the overall food preparation process to ensure high-quality service. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a positive dining experience for our guests, whether in a fine dining setting or catering environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop culinary skills and contribute to a dynamic food service operation. Duties Assist with food prep by washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients according to established recipes and standards Support the kitchen team in meal assembly, ensuring timely and accurate presentation of dishes Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep stations, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines Handle food with care, following proper food handling procedures to ensure freshness and safety Contribute to menu planning discussions by providing input on ingredient availability and preparation techniques Support catering events by preparing ingredients and assisting with plating or setup as needed Follow all safety protocols related to knife skills, cooking techniques, and food storage Qualifications Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable Strong background in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen operations within the food industry or restaurant environment Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Experience with menu planning and meal preparation in fine dining or catering settings preferred Excellent knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Passion for culinary arts with a desire to learn and grow within the food service industry Join our team and bring your culinary passion to life!
