  • Full-time Little Jewels Learning Center seeks a Cook for the following responsibilities:
  • Prepare food daily for about 225 people
  • Complete daily cleaning tasks as assigned
  • Dishes
  • Serve breakfast, lunch, and snack on a schedule
  • Complete items marked on monthly walk thru.
  • Maintain program site and equipment
  • Complete food order though Sysco along with a local store order
  • Attend monthly staff meetings and extra activities.
  • Complete CPR & 1st Aid Training as required.
  • Must be willing and able to pass a background check
  • Must possess or be willing to obtain
Food Manager Certificate Duties:
  • Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards
  • Assist in menu planning and development
  • Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow all company policies and procedures
Skills:
  • Proven experience as a cook or similar role
  • Knowledge of various cooking techniques and methods
  • Ability to follow recipes accurately
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment We are looking for a skilled Cook to join our team.
As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food items according to recipes and quality standards. You will also assist in menu planning and development, ensuring that all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets food safety guidelines. The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a cook, knowledge of various cooking techniques, and the ability to follow recipes accurately.
