ASAP, we have a new employee orientation class starting soon
Orientation Note :
Our New Employee Orientations are held every other Wednesday, starting at 10:30am. You will need to attend the full day.
Hourly Wage:
$15.00 + a full benefit package
Shift:
Full Time; 12-8pm
Schedule:
12-8pm, with an every-other weekend rotation

Are you ready to join a team where your cooking skills help brighten someone's day? At our medical center , being a Cook means more than just preparing meals. What you'll do: Follow detailed recipes to prepare tasty, nutritious meals for patients, including 'special diets' tailored with help from our Registered Dietitian. Keep the kitchen clean and safe, following strict IDPH food safety rules to protect everyone. Pitch in wherever needed — from stocking the freezer to chatting with patients about their meals or helping to prepare next week's menu. Qualifications Dietary Cook:
Officially, we title this job a Dietary Cook, but in other centers it may be called Line Cook or even an entry level Chef. What we need from you : Current CFPM (Certified Food Protection Manager) certificate PLUS a Food Handlers Certificate These are often obtained thru ServSafe, but other accredited program certificates are accepted At least 1 year of experience as a Cook/Chef in a healthcare facility or commercial/central kitchen (strongly preferred) Basic knowledge of computer-based documentation systems Understanding of good food preparation, serving techniques, and food safety and sanitation rules High school diploma or GED (preferred) Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English Ability to regularly stand for lengthy periods of time, push, pull, move and/or lift a minimum of 25 pounds, and pass a pre-employment physical and background check Additional Information This overview/ad is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities or qualifications associated with the job. TRANSITIONAL CARE MANAGEMENT
. We currently provide comprehensive management services to several inpatient healthcare centers throughout Northern IL & the Chicagoland area. These settings include Long-term Care Skilled Nursing (SNFs), Short-term Care Rehabilitation, Intermediate Care (ICFs), and Behavioral Health Service (SMHRFs) centers.
