Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to established recipes and quality standards Assist with menu planning and ingredient selection to ensure freshness and variety Handle food safely by following proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures Support meal preparation for different service settings, including fine dining or catering events Maintain cleanliness of workstations, kitchen equipment, and utensils throughout shifts Serve food to guests or clients in a courteous and professional manner Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of meals and smooth kitchen operations Skills Proven experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling techniques Excellent knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation methods Prior restaurant or food industry experience demonstrating culinary expertise Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for hygiene and sanitation Ability to work efficiently under pressure in fast-paced environments such as fine dining or catering settings Skilled in menu planning, food service operations, and catering logistics This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their culinary career while delivering outstanding dining experiences.
