11:00 AM - 7:00 PM | Weekdays and weekend days on a rotation basis

37.5 hours/week Sedgebrook Senior Living is seeking an experienced Cook to support our Culinary Services team. This role is ideal for experienced culinary professionals who can independently prepare melas, maintain quality standards, and contribute to a high-performing dining services team. Key Responsibilities Prepare lunch, dinner, and special event meals according to standardized recipes. Ensure food quality, presentation, portion control, and timely meal service. Follow HAACP food safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures. Assist with supervising, training, and supporting culinary staff. Help oversee kitchen operations in the absence of management. What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED required. 5+ years of cooking experience required. Experience in high-volume or healthcare/senior living dining environments preferred. Culinary training preferred. Servsafe Certification preferred (required after hire). Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively. Reliable attendance and teamwork mindset.
