The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with experience and knowledge of menu planning. This role requires a commitment to food safety and quality, ensuring that every dish meets our high standards. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you. Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards. Assist in menu planning, taking into account seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling practices. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, assisting with ordering as needed. Qualifications Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or similar food service environment. Dietary department or dietary aide experience is preferred. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations within the food industry. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
