Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry and a commitment to creating delicious and nutritious meals. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in meal preparation, menu planning, and ensuring food safety standards are met. This position is perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working collaboratively in a kitchen setting. Duties Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines. Assist in menu planning to ensure variety and nutritional balance in offerings. Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation throughout the cooking process. Collaborate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs and preferences. Help with food preparation tasks, including chopping, mixing, and seasoning ingredients. Ensure all kitchen equipment is clean, well-maintained, and used safely. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed. Work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality standards. Skills Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Proven culinary skills with experience in meal preparation within a restaurant or similar setting. Familiarity with menu planning and dietary aide responsibilities is preferred. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also taking initiative when necessary. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in food presentation. Ability to adapt recipes for dietary restrictions or preferences as required. Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with kitchen staff and management.
