• Part-time, Full-time Cook / Line Cook El Famous Burrito is seeking a reliable and hardworking Cook to join our team.

We are a family-owned Mexican restaurant serving the Mount Prospect community since 1998. We are looking for someone who takes pride in preparing quality food, works well in a fast-paced environment, and values teamwork.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards Grill meats and prepare ingredients for service Maintain food safety and sanitation standards Stock and organize kitchen stations Assist with food prep including chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and portioning ingredients Keep the kitchen clean and organized throughout the shift Work efficiently during lunch and dinner rushes Follow directions and communicate effectively with team members and management

Qualifications:

Previous restaurant or kitchen experience preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Reliable transportation and strong attendance Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds Positive attitude and willingness to learn Ability to work independently and as part of a team Spanish-speaking applicants are encouraged to apply

Schedule:
