Job Description

About the Position We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Line Cook & Culinary Pop-Up Specialist to join our culinary team. This position is a little different from a traditional line cook role. In addition to working regular shifts in the kitchen, this person will be part of our weekly pop-up program , helping transport food, equipment, and supplies between locations and assisting with setup, execution, breakdown, and cleanup. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen, doesn't mind getting out from behind the line, and wants a position with some variety. What You'll Do Kitchen Responsibilities Work assigned stations during regular service. Prepare food according to recipes, build sheets, and company standards. Maintain proper food quality, portion control, and presentation. Complete daily prep and stocking responsibilities. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation. Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures. Communicate effectively with the kitchen team during service. Assist other stations and kitchen team members when needed. Help with opening and closing duties. Weekly Pop-Up Responsibilities Travel between company locations for scheduled weekly pop-up events. Transport food, smallwares, equipment, and other necessary supplies. Assist with loading and unloading vehicles. Set up the pop-up cooking and service area. Execute food consistently and efficiently during the event. Maintain food safety and temperature standards while transporting and serving food. Break down and clean the pop-up operation after service. Return equipment, supplies, and product to the appropriate location. Communicate any product, equipment, or operational issues to the culinary leadership team. Transportation Requirement Reliable transportation is required for this position. The successful candidate must be able to reliably travel between our locations and pop-up events as scheduled.
You must:
Have reliable transportation. Have a valid driver's license. Be dependable and punctual when traveling between locations. Be comfortable transporting food, equipment, and supplies between locations. Be able to work at different company locations as business needs require. This position may require driving to a different location than your regularly scheduled work location for weekly pop-up events. What We're Looking For Previous line cook or professional kitchen experience preferred. Strong work ethic and positive attitude. Reliable and dependable attendance. Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a high-volume environment. Ability to follow recipes, procedures, and direction. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Willingness to help wherever needed. Comfortable working in different kitchens and environments. Ability to lift and carry food, equipment, and supplies. Must be comfortable driving between locations as part of the job. Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. The Right Person for This Role We're looking for someone who shows up, works hard, communicates, and takes pride in what they do. The pop-up portion of this position requires someone who can operate independently and be trusted to get the job done without constant supervision. You may be working at a location you don't normally work at, so adaptability and a good attitude are important. If you're the type of person who sees something that needs to be done and takes care of it, you'll fit well on this team. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Ability to lift and carry up to approximately 50 lbs. Ability to work in a hot, fast-paced kitchen environment. Ability to load and unload supplies and equipment. Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 38.0 per week
