Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and reliable Part-Time Cook/Cashier to join our dynamic team. In this dual role, you will be responsible for preparing delicious meals, maintaining food safety standards, and providing friendly, efficient service at the cash register. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop culinary skills while engaging with a diverse customer base in a fast-paced setting. Duties Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with attention to quality, presentation, and food safety standards Assist with menu planning and meal preparation to ensure timely service during busy periods Handle food with proper hygiene practices, including food handling and sanitation procedures Operate cash register, process transactions accurately, and provide excellent customer service at the point of sale Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, dining space, and food preparation stations Follow all safety protocols related to food industry regulations and kitchen operations Qualifications Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is preferred but not required Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and knife skills Experience in restaurant or food industry settings demonstrating strong food handling skills Familiarity with meal preparation and food safety standards Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Strong teamwork ethic with the flexibility to adapt to various roles as needed Join us and become part of a dedicated team committed to delivering quality food and exceptional service!
