Sophia's Kitchen embodies the Catholic spirit of serving those in need by providing nutritious meals, spiritual guidance, and support for health needs. The Head Cook is responsible for planning, preparing, and serving meals in a safe, sanitary, and efficient manner while supervising kitchen operations and coordinating with staff and volunteers. This rewarding position plays a vital role in serving members of our community with dignity, compassion, and respect.

Work Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. What You Will Do Prepare and serve nutritious meals for guests Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, inventory, and sanitation Order food and supplies while managing inventory and minimizing waste Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment What You Need High school diploma or equivalent required Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) certification preferred Physical and Work Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
