is seeking a a passionate service professional to join their team. The Line Cook will assist in preparing meals, and maintaining a clean, orderly kitchen, as well as meet health and safety guidelines. They will execute daily prep items to standards set forth and perform daily cleaning of all kitchen areas. They will assist in all closing procedures, following directions of the Executive and Sous Chef. This position is ideal for a hospitality professional who values consistency, creativity, and operational excellence. Responsibilities Acquire and maintain a current serve-safe manager certificate. Follow all health and safety guidelines set forth by local health department. Set up and break down of set workstations daily. Maintain stock levels on workstations per prep pars set by Executive Chef and Sous Chef. Keeps all perishable food items labeled and dates with 6-day discard cycle. Maintains cleanliness and organization of workstation and all kitchen areas during and post service. Executes daily prep items to Executive Chef standards. Performs daily deep cleaning of all kitchen areas such as floors, work surfaces, cooking elements, reach in coolers, exhaust hoods and filters, and polishing all stainless steel surfaces. Cooks and plates all food to standard set for by Executive and Sous Chefs. Qualifications Previous experience in a fine dining or upscale environment; 1-2 years kitchen experience or current culinary program student preferred. Availability to work nights, weekends, and certain holidays. Positive, engaging personality and professional appearance. Strong task and time management capabilities. Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Must be able to lift and carry up to 15 lbs Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions Schedule Evenings, weekends, and holidays required; this specific need is primarily for weekends and holidays.
