As a Cook, you prepare high-quality meals that support residents' health and enjoyment while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized kitchen environment.
What You'll Do:
- Prepare and serve meals according to standardized recipes and menus
- Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet Sunrise standards
- Follow dietary modifications and special meal requirements
- Record production quantities and food safety temperatures
- Stock, rotate, date, and store food per safety regulations
- Maintain clean kitchen, storage, and equipment areas
- Complete cleaning logs and equipment maintenance reports
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and OSHA guidelines
- Support dishwashing and dining service as needed
- Lead food production in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator You help create an enjoyable dining experience while ensuring safety and compliance.
