We are looking for a Line Cook/Pizza Maker to join our team at Aurelio's. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen, has a passion for great food, takes pride in every order they prepare, and thrives as part of a team. If you're dependable, organized, and are committed to delivering delicious pizzas and menu items with consistency and care, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities
- Learn and work in the Pizza, Steam/Grill, and Salad stations as needed.
- Set up and stock prep stations with ingredients and necessary tools before service.
- Prepare ingredients, menu items, and pizzas according to recipes and restaurant standards.
- Operate kitchen equipment, including pizza ovens, while ensuring food quality and consistency.
- Inspect orders for accuracy, quality, and presentation before serving or packaging.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area.
- Follow all food safety, health, and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist with stocking and organization of refrigerators, freezers, and storage areas.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen staff, servers, take-out staff, and delivery drivers. Skills & Qualifications
- Prior restaurant experience is preferred but not required.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to follow recipes and prepare multiple orders accurately.
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to safely use knives and kitchen equipment.
