Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of culinary techniques, particularly in a fine dining environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently while delivering high-quality dishes that meet our restaurant's standards. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards. Assist in menu planning and contribute creative ideas for new dishes. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety regulations. Utilize proper knife skills for food preparation, ensuring efficiency and safety. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Requirements Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or culinary setting, preferably in fine dining. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills. Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to help others when needed. A passion for cooking and an eagerness to learn new culinary skills.
