As a Line Cook , you will prepare and cook menu items in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while ensuring quality and consistency. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about delivering exceptional dishes. Company Overview Fourwinds Lakeside Inn & Marina are hiring to join our team! The Windjammer (est. 1976) is an iconic waterfront restaurant located on Lake Monroe in Bloomington, IN. Known for its exceptional food, live music, and scenic lakeside seating, The Windjammer continues to serve as an important landmark to the lake life community.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards. Always maintain a clean and organized workstation. Monitor food quality and presentation before dishes leave the kitchen. Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines. Assist with inventory management and restocking as needed. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure timely service.

REQUIREMENTS

Must be authorized to work in the United States and provide proper documentation. Minimum of 1 year of food preparation experience required. Experience with high-volume or quantity food preparation preferred. Ability to demonstrate strong cooking skills and follow established menus and recipes accurately. Capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Physically able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs., bend, climb, reach overhead, and work in confined spaces. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with sound judgment and problem-solving skills.
