Part-Time | Morning Shift | Rotating Weekends Are you someone who enjoys preparing great food and takes pride in helping others? Join the Culinary Services team at Walnut Hills, where your work helps make each day a little brighter for the residents we serve. As a Part-Time Morning Cook, you'll play an important role in preparing fresh, nutritious meals and helping create a positive dining experience. You'll be part of a team that values dependability, teamwork, and genuine care for others. Your Role Prepare and cook meals according to established menus, recipes, and quality standards. Ensure meals are prepared appropriately for individual dietary and nutritional needs. Maintain proper food handling, sanitation, and kitchen safety practices. Keep work areas, equipment, and kitchen spaces clean and organized. Assist with receiving, stocking, and storing food and kitchen supplies. Coordinate with the culinary and dining teams to have meals ready for scheduled service. Help provide friendly, respectful service to residents and guests. Contribute to a clean, safe, and welcoming dining environment. What Makes You a Great Fit High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous cooking, restaurant, healthcare, or food service experience is a plus. Comfortable following recipes, menus, and detailed instructions. Dependable, organized, and able to work well with others. Able to work efficiently during busy morning meal periods. Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Enjoys serving seniors and understands the importance of treating residents with kindness and respect.
