Position Details Schedule:

Part-Time | Day Shift Key Responsibilities As a Cook, your responsibilities will include: Preparing all served food with attention to taste, presentation, and nutritional value Planning food production to align with scheduled meal service times Memorizing, recording, and understanding menu items, plate presentations, and portion sizes Following standard recipes and adhering to special dietary orders Operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Ensuring compliance with all sanitation, infection control, and food production regulations Cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment, utensils, and appliances Assisting with inventory control and proper food storage procedures Working collaboratively with dietary staff to provide quality meal service to residents Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred One (1) year of dining services experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or related healthcare setting preferred Culinary school training preferred
