Job Description

Overview Marcy's Restaurant and Catering is a long established restaurant located in a rural community. We are regionally known for our BBQ Ribs, Fried Chicken, Creek Fries, and many other country style dishes. Join our family like team as a cook in our fast paced kitchen environment. If you have a passion for cooking and being creative in the kitchen this is the job for you! Prepare and cook dishes to customers order and requests with passion and efficiency. Responsibilities Prepare, cook, and serve meals following established recipes and safety guidelines Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, handling, and sanitation. Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, utensils, and equipment to uphold food safety standards Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal delivery and excellent customer service Follow all food industry regulations related to hygiene, safety, and allergen management Requirements Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling techniques desired Hands-on experience in restaurant or kitchen environments desired Knowledge of food safety protocols, including proper sanitation and allergen control desired Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Previous experience in catering or food service roles is highly desirable This position is an exciting opportunity for passionate food professionals!
