Job Overview- Part-time. 11:30a-7p weekdays/6:30a-6:30p. Alternating weekends. We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Cook/Dietary Aid to join our vibrant healthcare team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing nutritious, appealing meals tailored to residents' dietary needs while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and sanitation. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a warm, welcoming environment where residents feel cared for and valued. This position offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents through quality food service and compassionate support. Responsibilities Prepare and serve meals that meet specific dietary requirements, adhering to established menus and nutritional guidelines. Assist with food production, including chopping, mixing, cooking, and plating dishes efficiently and safely. Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and dishwashers following proper safety protocols. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen area, including cleaning surfaces, utensils, and equipment regularly. Follow safe food handling practices and workplace safety procedures to prevent contamination and accidents. Support the dietary department by bussing tables, assisting with meal delivery, and ensuring timely service to residents. Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies while practicing safe lifting techniques to prevent injury.
