Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Worker to join our team. This position will be working in a residential substance abuse treatment facility. The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation, maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, and support the overall operations of our food service. This role is crucial in ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently, providing high-quality meals to our clients. Duties Food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients for various dishes. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment by following proper sanitation and food safety protocols. Handle food items safely and ensure proper storage to prevent spoilage. Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries and assisting with any special requests. Participate in inventory management, including tracking supplies and reporting shortages as needed. Experience Previous experience as a dietary aide is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling is essential. Strong customer service skills with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. A passion for the food industry and a willingness to learn new skills are highly valued.
