Job Overview The General Manager is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our establishment, ensuring a high standard of service and quality. This role requires a dynamic individual who can effectively manage staff, maintain operational efficiency, and enhance the overall guest experience. The General Manager will play a crucial role in driving business success through strategic planning and exceptional leadership. Duties Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth functioning and adherence to company standards. Manage and supervise staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations. Implement effective shift management practices to optimize team productivity. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the food service environment. Handle cash management processes, including daily reconciliations and deposits. Maintain high standards of culinary excellence in food preparation and presentation. Develop and execute strategies to enhance customer satisfaction in fine dining experiences. Monitor inventory levels and manage food procurement to minimize waste while ensuring quality. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth. Skills Proven experience in food service management with a strong understanding of culinary operations. Proficient in cash handling procedures and financial management within a restaurant setting. Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team. Excellent shift management capabilities to ensure efficient service delivery during peak hours. Knowledge of fine dining standards and practices to elevate guest experiences. Familiarity with coffee preparation techniques is an asset. Exceptional communication skills for effective interaction with staff, guests, and stakeholders. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
