Job Description

Child Care Cook We are looking for a dependable, organized, and caring Cook to join our child care team! This position is responsible for preparing nutritious meals and snacks for children while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized kitchen.
Responsibilities Include:
Prepare and serve daily meals and snacks for children. Follow menus, recipes, required food components, and age-appropriate serving sizes . Follow all health, sanitation, and food safety guidelines. Follow proper procedures for children with food allergies and dietary restrictions. Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen throughout the day. Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and serving items. Clean counters, appliances, sinks, cabinets, floors, and food preparation areas. Properly store, label, date, and rotate food. Organize and restock refrigerators, freezers, pantry, and kitchen supplies. Monitor inventory and communicate when food or supplies need to be ordered. Complete required food-service documentation. Work independently, stay on schedule, and ensure meals are ready at designated times. Help with additional cleaning, organizing, and kitchen duties as needed.

Pay:
$24,960.00 - $29,120.00 per year
