Job Description

List of Duties:
Line Cook/Prep Cook We are looking for a professional line cook to prepare food to the exact chef's specifications and to set up stations for the menu. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and acquisition goals. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Responsibilities Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces) Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff Clean up station and take care of leftover food Stock inventory appropriately Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality, and in a timely fashion Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers Follows procedures for team cleaning and self-inspecting program as directed. Responds quickly to guest requests in a friendly manner. Reports appropriate complaints or requests to appropriate Follows up to ensure guest satisfaction. Displays a professional image at all times through appearance

Other duties as assigned by supervisor or management Skills and Qualities Organizational skills Ability to prioritize tasks Attention to detail Considerate of guests and staff Flexible worker Appreciation of clean facilities Logic and reason Friendly and accommodating towards guests Cooking experience, including experience as a line chef, restaurant cook, or prep cook Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures Accuracy and speed in executing assigned task Job Requirements Will be required to work weekends and holidays. Will be required to work in a fast-paced environment. Will be required to work with common household cleaning products. Communication skills are necessary some of the time in order to interact with hotel guests or staff.

$13.00 - $14.00 per hour
