The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, prior experience in a short-order kitchen environment, and knowledge of preparation of popular breakfast items. This role involves preparing and cooking breakfast items, ensuring high standards of food safety and presentation, and delivering exceptional service to our guests. Duties Prepare and cook breakfast dishes according to menu specifications and quality standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety guidelines Handle food preparation tasks including chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients with knife skills Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices are followed at all times Ensure appealing plating of orders Support catering or special event food preparation as needed Serve dishes efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation Requirements Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols Experience in 'short order' kitchen environments is a plus Strong proficiency in meal preparation and food handling Excellent understanding of food service operations within the food industry or Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team Availability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed Reliable transportation Benefits Free meal and drinks while on shift
