Your culinary expertise will help create memorable dining experiences for our guests, ensuring every plate meets our high standards of quality and safety. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, fryers, and food processors Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to strict food safety standards in production Assist with meal preparation and plating to ensure timely service during busy hours Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure food safety compliance Collaborate closely with kitchen staff to coordinate meal production and uphold communication standards Support menu planning efforts by providing input on ingredient availability and preparation techniques Experience Previous experience working in a restaurant or food service environment, demonstrating familiarity with kitchen operations Knowledge of dietary department practices or dietary aide experience is a plus Strong culinary skills including knife techniques, slicing methods, and recipe adherence Experience with food safety management and understanding safety standards in production environments Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Catering experience or food industry background is advantageous but not required Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork with kitchen staff and front-of-house personnel
Pay:
$15.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
