Job Description

MONDAY - FRIDAY
1st Shift Opening (5am - 1pm CST) Up to $16/hr depending on experience Corporate Dining Concepts sets the standard for extraordinary dining and catering in the corporate foodservice industry. Our ability to customize and execute our cafe and catering menus to exceed the expectation of our clients sets us apart from the other providers in our field. We offer dining solutions in corporate environments and concentrate our efforts fully on satisfying the full-service appetites of our corporate partners through creative menu selections, in-house catering, office coffee, vending services, and Micro Market concepts. Summary of Position:
We are looking for a
PREP COOK
committed to providing excellence through their collaborative team energy, being results oriented, and having great work ethic. The Prep Cook will be responsible for setting up workstations in the kitchen and preparing ingredients for the cooking process. This position will require basic cooking duties, monitoring stock levels, and taking on other culinary tasks as they arise.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain knowledge of all menu options in order to answer customer questions Prepare a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other food items in broilers, ovens, grills, fryers and a variety of other kitchen equipment according to Corporate Dining's standardized recipes Safely and effectively use, operate, and read all necessary tools and equipment, including knives and thermometers Maintain menu item counts and communicate to Management and service staff when quantities fall below restaurant specific minimum quantity Complete kitchen tasks such as line setup, food preparation, cleanup and breakdown Communicate any food delays or report any issues with equipment to your manager or shift lead Provide positive customer service and handle customer complaints when needed Maintain a safe and clean working environment by using proper food handling skills and food safety guidelines Accurately account for all items coming out of the station Understand and follow the food allergy procedure and special orders/restrictions. Adhere to clients wants and needs and understand they are our top priority Help with other tasks as needed in order to assist the team and create a smooth service
Job Requirements/ Qualifications:
ServSafe certification is a plus Ability to read, write and understand Instructions Have reliable transportation to and from the work location Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide easily and quickly Possess
EXCELLENT
customer service skills and show willingness to always please our guests Understand the importance of consistency Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and work as part of a TEAM Paying attention to details and operating with high efficiency Able to stand for the entire shift Able and willing to lift up to 50lbs (as needed) Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the US.
