Adecco is assisting a local client recruiting for a Cook position in Bowling Green, KY. This is for a long-term opportunity that will give you valuable experience to enhance your career. As a Cook you will be responsible for assisting the Chef in preparations for the daily meals. The ideal candidate is excellent at multi-tasking, is organized, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. If you meet the qualifications listed below, please ! This is a 1st shift Sunday-Thursday, 7am-3:30pm. Pay is $16.43 an hr. Responsibilities for this Cook position include:

• Prepares food items using standardized recipes in a timely manner
• Determines food and supplies needed and coordinate meal production with serving hours.
• Prepares all special dietary need as directed by the menus.
• Monitors all food items to see that at least the minimum guidelines for temperature, taste, and quality are always upheld.
• Ensures the proper preparation, portioning, and serving of foods as indicated on the menu cycle and standardized recipes.
• Tastes and prepares food to determine quality.
• Maintains or exceed standards of appearance, cleanliness, hygiene, and health standards.
• Assists with orientation and training of new kitchen employees.
• Practices all safety and loss prevention procedures.
• Attends all in-services as required.
• Follows all local, state, and federal policies regarding food handling.
• Assists with proper documentation of temperature logs, taste panel forms, and cleaning schedules.
• Washing dishes and pans
• Clean and sanitize
• Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualifications:
