Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic to join our team, bringing their culinary expertise and passion for food service to create a positive dining experience for our residents and guests. In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing nutritious and appealing meals, assisting with menu planning, and ensuring food safety standards are upheld. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will contribute to a warm, welcoming environment where quality and care are at the forefront. Duties Assist in developing and executing diverse menus that meet nutritional guidelines and resident preferences Prepare, cook, and serve meals with precision, utilizing strong knife skills and culinary techniques Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food and ensuring timely delivery Contribute to food presentation, ensuring dishes are visually appealing and meet quality standards Maintain inventory of kitchen supplies and ingredients, restocking as needed to ensure smooth operations Provide excellent food service by serving meals with professionalism, friendliness, and efficiency Qualifications Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly preferred Strong background in menu planning, food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques Experience working in restaurants or the food industry is advantageous Demonstrated skills in kitchen operations, including knife skills and food presentation Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety Excellent communication skills with a team-oriented attitude Join us as a to bring your culinary talents to life while making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve!
